Bonnie Raitt, age 8 months

Eligible applicants must live within 30 min of Tulsa, have a solid vet reference, and secure fenced in yard.

Bonnie Raitt is quite the girl ... weighing 34 lbs as of 7/21/22. Her primary picture makes her look bigger than she is, so keep her current weight in mind!   She is happy, friendly, affectionate, playful and full of personality! Bonnie is great with other dogs, loves to play with them, her sturdy chew toys and LOVES to snuggle with her humans.   Her cat test was interesting ... she seemed to be afraid of the cats. Not sure she knows what to think of them, so that's good. She would do fine in a home with a cat or cats, with a proper introduction.   Bonnie is learning the ropes. She is doing great with her crate training and is improving every day with her potty training. She has only had an accident or two inside. Once she knows exactly where to potty, she is great!   Bonnie is also learning to walk on a leash. She loves walks, and hops directly straight up in the air when she is excited. It's super cute.   She is eager to please and wants to learn. She really is a smart girl.   This girl is an adolescent, so she is active and is learning healthy boundaries. Crating when you aren't home or able to supervise are recommended.   She has had a couple of baths so far, and has tolerated them well. Overall, she has been a great puppy addition to the RnRAF doggie family!  Bonnie was born about November 2021.

Dolly Parton, age 4

Eligible applicants must live within 30 min of Tulsa, have a solid vet reference,
and a secure fenced in yard - no apartment for this girl.
Prior Schnauzer experience preferred.

Meet Dolly Parton, a 4 year old Schnauzer/Poodle (or Schnoodle) of 19 lbs.  Dolly is sweet, affectionate and friendly.  Some of Dolly’s favorite things are to hang out with her humans, cuddle, give kisses and nap on the couch.  Her coat has been shaved due to the mats, so in time, her coat will be lush, fluffy and super soft ... just you wait!   Dolly gets along well with the dogs in her foster home, and the cats too! She can be curious at times about the cats when they run, but when you correct her, she stops instantly in her tracks!  Dolly gets along with everyone, including kids and visitors to her foster home. She has been around children as young as 1 yr old without issue, but with supervision of course!   Dolly is house trained, sleeps well in her crate overnight and stays in her crate while foster mom is out.  She does well on a leash and rides well in the car.   This girl is a non-shedding breed, so professional and routine grooming is required.   Dolly is healthy, up to date on all vaccines, spayed, microchipped, the works. She is a great little girl and will make a great family pet. Dolly was born about July 2018.

Grace, age 6 months

To be eligible to apply, you must live within 30 mins of Tulsa, have a secure fenced-in yard, and a solid vet reference.

Meet Grace, our darling female puppy of 6 months old and 29 lbs. Grace is a Catahoula/Rat Terrier mix. We don't think she will get much bigger than 45 lbs. once fully grown.   Grace is friendly, fun, playful, affectionate and ready for love. She can be active, but can be chill too, as you can see in her snuggly photos;.  She is great with other dogs and should do fine with cats if introduced slowly and appropriately.  She is improving on her house training daily and is great in her crate. She loves all kinds of toys, but since she is an adolescent, she needs "tough" toys like a Kong, nyla bone and other durable things to entertain her.  She is working on her leash training.  Grace was a stray, running the streets, and was clipped by a car but didn't endure any damage. A good samaritan took her in to help her. She is healthy, spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and good to go!  Grace is a joy to have around, such a very sweet girl, reay for her forever family. She was born about February 1, 2022.

Kingston, age 1

Eligible applicants must live within 30 min of Tulsa, have a valid vet reference, and secure fenced in yard.

FOSTER AND/OR ADOPTER NEEDED!!!

Kingston is ready for 2022 and his new home so bring it on baby! This boy is so great, not to mention gorgeous! Kingston is a male heeler Mix of 35 lbs. He is still a baby!   He was originally a puppy obtained from a flea market by an elderly man. This elderly man was not a good fit for a young, energetic puppy, so the daughter stepped in and relinquished him to us.   Kingston is friendly, happy, affectionate, playful and healthy. He has pretty decent manners for an adolescent! He is mostly house trained if you take him out routinely and is learning about crate training. He needs good chew toys since he is an adolescent puppy who is in his chewing phase. He loves a Kong filled with peanut butter, rope toys and tough squeaky toys. He also enjoys digestible rawhide.   Kingston is great with other dogs, ignored the cats at our vet's office and would do fine with kids who are dog savvy and older than 8 years of age.   He has a decent energy level, given he is still young, so interested applicants need to either have another dog for him to play with or be sure they have a solid exercise routine in place for him. A happy dog is a well-exercised dog!   Kingston is working on his leash training. He pulls on the leash, but with practice and proper training, this is an easy fix!  Kingston was born about May 2021.

Mango, age 3

To be eligible to apply, you must live within 30 mins of Tulsa,
have a secure privacy fenced-in yard, and a solid vet reference.

DON' T PASS HER BY - GREAT/AMAZING DOG!

Mango is a beautiful, reverse brindle heeler/catahoula mix of 3 years old and 46lbs., a perfect size! She is good with other dogs but has not been cat tested yet.   Mango is also good with kids ages 6 and older.   She is friendly, happy, affectionate, playful, loyal, funny and great with everyone she meets! She is always ready to meet new people, not a shy girl!   Mango is energetic, friendly, playful and ready for action! This dog is super athletic and agile. Boy, would she be amazing for agility training!   Mango is house trained and crate trained but she really doesn't prefer to stay in her crate. She loves toys and people.   Mango's owners just didn't have time for her, and haven't had time to train her, so we will pay for a training class on her behalf. She knows the basics like "sit" and "no".

Did you know we will pay for a training class at K9 Manners and More for Mango? They are located in Broken Arrow, and are a great training facility and have a very flexible schedule for classes! Obedience training is a fun experience for you and your dog, and it's FREE, so why not, right?

Mango was born about May 2018.

Max, age 8

To be eligible to apply, you must live within 30 mins of Tulsa, have a secure fenced-in yard, a vet reference and no children under the age of 8. Thank you.

Max is a very easy dog. He is low maintenance, and who doesn't like that?? Max is loyal, friendly, gentle, quiet and a bit of a couch potato! He would be great for an older couple looking for a simple pet in the home.   He is house trained and doesn't need to be crated, he has excellent indoor doggie manners. And look out, when you get the leash and harness ready for a walk, he goes crazy! He loves walks and is good on leash!   Max is fine with other dogs and cats. He enjoys the companionship of another dog but will only play occasionally with his foster siblings.   Max does shed, so keep this in mind.  He loves his foster mom, follows her around a lot, but she will often find him chilling out on the couch or in a dog bed.  Max's owner had to go into assisted living, and so now he is with us to find that new place to call forever. Maybe it's with you Max was born about April 2013.
