There are many shelters and rescue groups who schedule activities and fundraisers in addition to weekend adoption events at pet stores around the metro Tulsa area.  Rather than try to list them again here, we suggest you check the listings in the bimonthly TulsaPets magazine for a comprehensive listing.

 

Low-cost pet care options

Spay Oklahoma

Additional one-time services at time of surgery

Claremore Animal Control
 

The Claremore Animal Shelter partners with a Claremore Veterinarian for a low income spay/neuter program. Household income must beunder $40,000. Bring income verification to the shelter (815 Ramm Road) to fill out paperwork. The cost is $55 for dogs and $45 for cats and includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination and deworming. Only cash is accepted.

Marina Animal Clinic
 

Marina hosts Vaccine Days with discounted vaccinations for healthydogs and cats.   Check their website for details.

Southern Agriculture Stores


Southern Agriculture stores in the Tulsa area regularly
provide low-cost vaccination clinics and discounted
veterniary services by appointment at some stores.

SPCA

 

The Tulsa SPCA provides low-cost vaccinations for dogs and cats as well as heartworm tests, deworming, and microchips at their regular Low Cost Shot Clinics.  They perform low-cost spays and neuters on Wednesdays.  Check their website for hours and costs. tulsaspca.org
